RMBI Festival Jewel

To purchase and wear the Festival Jewel, as shown on the front cover of this leaflet, you will need to have qualified as a Steward of the Festival.

To qualify as a Steward a minimum payment of £100 must have been donated by you to the Festival, after the launch at the meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge on 8th May 2012.

This can be by regular monthly giving through your Lodge or by a one off donation again through your Lodge.

These funds will go towards the Festival, together with any tax that can be claimed back on your donation.  Will you please ensure you have signed a Gift Aid declaration form?  If not, why not sign one now?

Once you have achieved this minimum donation you will be able to purchase a Festival Jewel for £25. The price of the jewel is the same as our last Festival jewel for the Grand Charity.

The £25 covers the cost of producing the jewel, with the remainder going to the Festival. To apply for your jewel, please use the application form located in the Charity Specimen Forms page.

As a Steward of the Festival you are entitled to wear the jewel at Lodges and Chapters within the Province during the course of the Festival which runs through to 2017. You will also be able to apply to attend the end of Festival Banquet. Only Stewards and their Partners will be able to attend.

If a Brother’s donations reach or exceed £500 he will qualify as a Patron of the Festival and he will receive a Certificate of Patronage.

For more information on the qualification of becoming a Steward of the Festival, purchasing a Festival Jewel or any other matter associated with the Festival please contact your Lodge Charity Steward
