Provincial visit to the Sikh Temple, Leeds
On Sunday 31st May 2015 the RW Provincial Grand Master and ME Grand Superintendent will be leading a visit by the Province to the Sikh Temple, 192, Chapletown Road, Leeds LS7 4HZ hosted by the Honorary President Balraj Singh Gill and the members of the Sikh Temple.
The visit will commence at 2.30 p.m. and attendees would be expected to arrive by 2.00 p.m.
After a welcome and introduction to the Sikh faith from the Honorary President the service will be conducted by the members of the temple. The Provincial Grand Master will also present a reading from the Sikh Holy Book.
Following the final prayer the brethren/wives will be offered Langar (lunch this is 100% vegetarian) in groups whilst a Question and Answer session continues in the main hall. It is anticipated that the visit will be concluded by 5.00 p.m.
As is customary in a Sikh Temple the majority of the attendees will be seated on the floor, however a limited number of chairs will be available for those in need. Places to the visit and the chairs will be allocated on a first come basis.
