Civil Sunday Service Mirfield 4th May 2014

Brethren,

I hope this may be of interest, and am pleased that Woodsmoke lodge, who recently invited me to attend their meeting have already said they will be represented.

CIVIC SUNDAY SERVICE – 4 MAY 2014

The Mayor and Mayoress (Councillor Martyn Bolt and Mrs Elizabeth Bolt) are to celebrate their term of office with a service at the Community of the Resurrection in Mirfield on Sunday 4 May 2014.

It is hoped very much that representatives from across Kirklees and beyond will join the Mayor on this occasion to make the afternoon an integrated event in every sense. The service will commence at 3.00 pm and will be a family occasion with people from all sections of the community invited to take part. Anyone, whatever their beliefs, is welcome to attend.

Those wishing to attend are asked to arrive for 2.45 pm. Following the service, which should last approximately one hour, refreshments will be served.

The Mayor and Mayoress would be delighted if you or your organisation were able to attend, and join them in looking back and celebrating their year in office.

As capacity on the day is limited, attendance will be on a first come first served basis. I would be grateful therefore if you would respond by e-mail should you be interested, stating numbers wishing to attend.

Yours faithfully
