Universities Scheme Breaking News

Breaking News –  Lodge of Connaught & Truth Lodge No: 521, Huddersfield has been admitted as a full member of the Universities Scheme.

The Assistant Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David Williamson has been pleased to approve the admission of The Lodge of Connaught & Truth No: 521, Huddersfield as a member of the Universities Scheme.

The Lodge becomes the fourth Lodge of the Universities Scheme in our Province and joins University Lodge No: 3911, Sheffield, Aurora Lodge No: 4047, Leeds and Lodge of Hope No: 302, Bradford.

On receiving the good news, WBro. Craig Johnson, PPSGD, Worshipful Master of the Lodge said, “Our Lodge is honoured to be part of the Universities Scheme. The Brethren of the Lodge of Connaught and Truth look forward to playing a full and active role in this important initiative”.

Our own Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother John K. Clayton is equally pleased with the news, “I am absolutely delighted that the Lodge of Connaught and Truth has been admitted into the Universities Scheme.
The Scheme has created a strategic opportunity for the future of Freemasonry by admitting undergraduates into our Order at an early age.  With Scheme Lodges in Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford and now Huddersfield, we are strongly placed in our Province to take full advantage of the benefits of participating in the Universities Scheme”.
