Yorkshire Freemasons “flying the flag” at the Great Yorkshire Show
Freemasons from the Provinces of Yorkshire ,West Riding and the North and East Ridings will again be “flying the flag” for Freemasonry at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate. The Show is now considered to be the Premier County Show in the whole of the UK.
Invited to be part of the stand this year are representatives from the
Firefly Cancer Support Charity in Doncaster and Harrogate Hospital Radio, both of which received substantial grants from The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Masonic Grants which, were presented at a packed ceremony at the Savilles Room at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on the 20th June.
Over £160,000 was presented to dozens of good causes across Yorkshire by The Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Dr Ingrid Roscoe and the Provincial Grand Master, John K Clayton.
The stand is now an integral part of the Show and each year sees more and more people coming on to the Stand, asking questions and being very interested in what we have to say.
The Show this year is on the 10th,11th and 12th July.
The Stand is in it’s usual position next to the Food Show, and is Stand number 212.
Have a great day out at the Great Yorkshire Show, we look forward to seeing you.
