Martin House Hospice – Care in the Community
Last year W. Bro Brian Gowland of the Lodge of Stability 7374 in Area 5 built a fire engine for his grandchildren for their use in the garden, the project was such a success that an acquaintance asked if he would build one for the children at Martin House Hospice.
Bro Gowland was delighted to do so and started the project over the winter period. W. bro Brian has received support and a commitment from the Lodge of Stability 7374 to assist with the finance for the supply of timber and extra goods required. With the assistance of his joiner from his company Whiteroom Propertys and paint from Regional Paints Ltd the Fire Engine was made and finally delivered yesterday and will be officially handed over by the Worshipful Master next week.
