Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge
IN ANNOUNCING the re-launch of our Provincial website at this week’s annual meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge at the splendid Royal Hall, Harrogate, the R W Provincial Grand Master, John K Clayton, thanked Bros Kevin Gould, Peter Thornton and David Clough, for providing the site with a new look.
“I think you will now find it attractive and user friendly. This Province was one of the first to embrace this technology. We have taken the opportunity to redesign the website, giving it a more modern feel and making it more accessible to a wider audience. “
“Brethren, the website is yours, but to keep it alive and interesting, we need to ensure that it is updated with articles and news items. It needs to be a dynamic facility. It will only be as good as the material supplied by you for inclusion.
“Important as it is as a means of communication, the website works closely with the editorial team of our twice yearly publication ‘White Rose Masonic News,’ which has been established in its present form for over 14 years. The White Rose is an excellent publication, envied by many of our colleagues in other Provinces.”

Pictures show part of one of the processions into Provincial Grand Lodge and Jeanette Lodge and Raychel Perks, of the Denby Dale Centre, with R W Bro Clayton. The centre, which organises community activities and provides social support, received a £10,000 grant from the PGM’s Fund.
