70 Year Certificate Presentation
On the 20th April, 85 brethren gathered at the Masonic Hall in Waddington to celebrate the 70th aniversary of membership in freemasonry of W/bro James Crabtree PPJGW.
During the evening The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master W/Bro John K Clayton gave a resume of W/bro Crabtrees Masonic career, following his initiation in 1941 to being master in 1952 and subsequent provincial offices.
W/bro Crabtree recieved a framed 70 year certificate from the Provincial Grand Master to a suitable round of applause from all present.
On closeng of the lodge the brethren retired to the Swan and Royal Hotel in Clitheroe for the banquet where W/bro Crabtree was presented with a case of fine wine from the brethren of 401.
