Proposed New Lodge for Leeds

For many years, since the closure of the Masonic Building in Great George Street, Leeds City Centre has been without a Craft Lodge. A number of potential Founders are now looking to change this by proposing to have a new Lodge consecrated at the LS1 Club on Albion Place.

The purpose of the Lodge would be to attract candidates who work or live in the centre of Leeds. It is proposed that the Lodge meets four times a year in March, June, September and December.

To date 33 Brethren have committed to become Founders together with a number of Brethren wishing to become Joining Members.

Pictured at the LS1 Club is the proposed Founding Master, Worshipful Brother Keith Madeley and the proposed Founding Secretary Worshipful Brother Ian Lewis and together their vision  is to bring Freemasonry back to Leeds City Centre.
