Personal Notes
Well Brethren, I’ve just return from visiting my daughter in the United States where I managed to fit in a Lodge meeting to Rising Sun Lodge, Haddonfield No: 15 in the Grand Lodge of New Jersey.

Interestingly, Rising Sun Lodge is a recent product of an amalgamation of three Lodges – “because they only had a combined membership of about 750 (Yes 750!). The new amalgamated Lodge has a new name and retains the lowest original and oldest number: Lodge 15
I was received with such kindness after being proved fully and extensively in all Craft Degrees by an Examination Committee. Yes, they do prove visiting Brethren with great enthusiasm in the USA! So do be prepared if you intend to travel across the Atlantic Ocean.
It was a great meeting with robust discussions on all matters concerning the Lodge – Nothing was put through on the nod. This was a scheduled “Business Meeting”. Degrees are only conferred at meetings so designated for that purpose where no Lodge Business is transacted
A really nice light meal before the meeting followed by cake and coffee
Fraternal Greetings to All!
