Historical Records Project Completed

The final reports on the Historical Records Survey have now been received by the Province.  The RW Provincial Grand Master is extremely pleased with the 100% response from Lodges and Chapters in the Province and thanks all those who gave their time to complete this mammoth task.  The Province, with almost 11,600 items recorded, has by far the largest collection of documents than any other Province.

The RW Provincial Grand Master commented, “After initial scepticism about this project I think the consensus of everyone is that it has been an extremely useful exercise, resulting in an awareness of the importance of looking after historical documents”.

He hopes that Lodges and Chapters will ensure their records are conserved correctly, and he has asked the Provincial Project co-ordinators to continue their work offering help and support to Lodges and Chapters in the Province.
